Im sorry for all of the threads but i have so many questions!

Here is the weapon i keep seeing in people's screen shots. I was wondering if anyone else had this wepaon.

If its not for regualr HL2,pleae tell me what its from! Its making me so frusterated because it makes me think that i got screwed with my HL2.

Anyone with any information on this mysterious gun will be rewarded with a kookie.

That's not a regular HL2 gun afaik...

I seriously doubt custom Source models for HL2 are out yet.

OICW = kewl gun.
oh, and that pic.. photoshop or custom model
Just look the shadows.. the gun doesnt match..

If im right its a g-36 from heckler and koch. The predessesor of the xm-8 and xm-36 experimental weapons.

Sorry pepper i think your wrong its an OICW, america was gonna use the oicw as there next rifle but its way to heavy so now there using that awesome Xm8. google OICW if you dont beleive me

There were lots and lots of HL2 weapons that didn't make it into the game - because they were just useless. They more or less did the same thing as existing hl2 weapons, or had no use in the gameplay.

There was a list of them someplace...
