maybe all FPS are just softwares to train the future soldiers, make them used to deal with weapons, reloading bullets, the death, train them to camp, rush, ambush, deal with objectives and terrain features, command and especially ... follow orders.

Well, actually, in all seriousness, FPS shooters are sometimes used to train soldiers in Urban Warfare etc. Counter-Strike has also been used as a training tool.

Counter-Strike is very symbolic of Martial law, and how troops are being trained to combat the Millita groups in America who stand for the Constitution and ammendments.

Half-Life? is also remarkably similar to the future of a New World Order and a Brave New World. Even down to the way citizens are treated by the Gestapo-like fascist Combine.

when i first met Peace and LOve (dont think he visits anymore) we were arguing about some kind of model vault, and things got very... vulgar. the next day, i was on IRC talking to some guy names PaLO. i thought he was a pretty decent guy, came across as one of the regulars-to-be. a few days later, having talked with him more, i watched him change his name in IRC.
