I recently aquired a new router, and while it works fine for the most part, I can't seem to connect to msn messenger.

For some odd reason, the msn.com page doesn't work either, so I'm wondering, can someone tell me which ports msn uses so i can open 'em?

I don't know much about ports and routers, mainly because I don't have one, but this site might be able to help.

I know little about routers, it wasn't cheap in terms of money, but quality wise I have no idea.

It's a Netgear DG834 by the way :|

Yes, I've follow that guide. ZL posted the link to that site. Still won't work. Everything else Ive tried does however, like steam, world of warcraft etc.

But thanks for helping Stridey

Update:

Now it seems to be working. Thing is, i resetted it to factory defaults and this time Msn worked without the need to open any ports, just like you said it should, Orpheus. Damn I hate routers..

Anyways, thanks to everyone who responded
