trying to get my first DE map working and when the terrorist gets to the bomb target area I try to use the bomb and it says that I must place C4? but when I hold down the fire button nothing happens

can anyone please tell me what I have missed?

are you sure you're within the range of the bombtarget?
and you have to be standing on solid ground (not an entity)
