Hi,

First post here, I'm a 3D artist and I've used worldbuilder, I belive, when HL1 first came out. I have recently been thinking of coming back to level design and mod making.

I'd like to know if it is possible to create scripted animations in 3DMax and import them in the game, I'm talking about the conversation scenes when Alyx and Eli talk to gordon in the lab for example, as well as a house or bridge collapsing.

If it is possible, I'd be starting right away (just need to download the SDK) if not I'll have to practice in XSI before going into Hammer.

Already found an answer, and it is to use FacePoser.

unfortunately, the current Hammer won't work with custom scenes.
