Just out of couriosity and pure bordome, What is your favorite comic?

Mine? Obviously Green Arrow as you can see from my pic.
I used to love Green Lantern(hmmm green again)but i finally came to terms that weakness to yellow is just sooo lame, i mean a dandilion coula ownz him, tahts just plain sad.

Also 2 other really good comics, J T H M(jonny the homocidal mainiac) by Jhonen Vasques, witch some of you probabally know. And Lenore by Roman Dirge, its about a little dead cuite girl and her mishaps, soooo funny. Both comics are made by Slave Labor(nooo the company not the actuall slaves).

Posted 19 years ago2005-07-11 01:35:51 UTC Post #120211
Quite nice. He looks a little polygonised.

Can see the rubbed-out bits, though. Not too noticable, though. It looks like he's moving.

I made this thing with psp for the "beef jerky" topic... I drew it in the crappy 50's style... (notice the hat and the stick) Twas s'posed 2 be a character on a beef jerky bag... Too bad it looks like bacon

Posted 19 years ago2005-07-11 02:53:15 UTC Post #120225
Yea - but try adding some movement outlines (see my "jerky" guy) :)
So that ppl would clearly see in wht direction and how strong he will throw it...

The Far Side is pretty awesome too.

Hmm, Matrix Comics are pretty sound.

I like noir comics, or really well made ones with a slightly different design instead of the normal Spider Man Uber Bright Colour style.

I don't read real paper comics too much because they cost a load. I prefer their internet counterpart, web comics. I keep an eye on and frequently check Angst Technology and Sorry, We're Open over at Inktank, Nicholas Gurewitch's "The Perry Bible Fellowship", the classic Penny Arcade and quite nicely drawn Mac Hall.
