How can I change the color of the HUD for my mod for the Steam version of Half-Life? I looked everywhere and I couldn't find a solution. Please help!

To change the hud color for your mod, you're going to have to do some programming. You can find the latest steam compatible source code for Half-Life here and a tutorial for modifying the hud color on this very site here.

Dr.Orange just told you exactly what you need to do and posted links to both the source code and the most in depth tutorial there is...

If that doesn't make it easy enough for you then you'd better learn to love the orange HUD. :P
