Hello everyone, I am a beginner modder, doing one mod for Half life 1
I want to make a normal flashlight for Half life, as in Half life 2, but I don’t know how.
I have the source code Half life 1.

That will require some OpenGL programming, and that's not really meant for beginners.
Specifically, you would have to implement a projected texture, although if you really want to do it, you can probably take a look at Trinity Renderer's source code.

Hmm, this would be hard. But i recommended just using HL1 Flashlight, cause it really fit for the game.
