I'll tell my "story" in parts so you people can get a clue what's happening:

-First I made a map
-Then I compiled it
-Played the map
-Then I added extra objects in my map
-Then I compiled
-AND THEN IT SAID CANNOT FIND MAP!!

What's wrong?? This has happened me sometimes before and couldn't solve the thing
(Don't say that it's the extra objects which made this mess because it is not their fault)

well this happend to me also except it was because i reformated my comp a few days before and it was sending the maps to the old user account so if u have another one of them try getting ur maps out of it then delete the old account and that will also free up like 4 gigs on ur comp. Good luck

Click on the Start Menu, and Find, Find Files/Folders. Search For
"yourmapname.bsp"

If your map name is long, check this example:
Map Name: Unbreakable.bsp
Search Key: Unbrea~1.bsp

ok, once found make sure it is in your Half-Life, vALVE, Maps directory.
If doesnot work Try this

Another way to check this is to right click on the half-life icon and add
this to the end of the target line " +map yourmap.bsp

anyways if its not there then check your worldcraft/hammer Setup guide(found on this site in the tutorials) and make sure you have the correct folder that the compiled maps are to be placed in (described above)

If none of this happened, and your bsp files are all in the correct locations/directories, then copy and paste your map into a new map and recompile, using a short and to the point name like- map1.bsp
Anyways gotto go, times up.

Read the setting-up tutorials. If you've read them properly, you'll know where to look if it doesn't work. Check the compile log.

You're looking in the wrong place, or you've set them as "hidden" and have Windows nooberized.

Perhaps a dodgy map? The compiler doesn't produce a new bsp because of errors. This could be the problem although I'm not sure.
