Is it me or does every forum site end up dieing because of too many spammers that dont listen to the rules or dont pay attention to signs (depending on the site ) like....TUTORIALS....and such

My site hasn't died from spamming, infact, there isn't any spam at all unless you count the forum designed for spamming.

How do you manage that?

Cos I only have a small circle of non-dumbass members.

Sites don't die because of Spammers.
Sites die because the members grow up and get a life!
Not true. I'm probably older than you think, not some little kid who still has a ways to go, have a great social life, but I still map and develop game stuff. I'm not going to be 'growing up and getting a life' any time soon because I've already done that. Level design is a hobby/endeavor/career that many adults work on, not just 14 year olds. When life takes over and I have no time to map, then I'll leave, but it certainly wont kill the site.

I plan to take to deleting stupid threads, like ones that are answered explicitly in tutorials.
