how do you make realistic cliffs? any good cliff editing tutorial sites?

i know how to use vertex editing. but when i edit the cliffs they suck. and just look like walls with vertex editing done to them. if i had a tut. i think i would do better. you can get my map here: http://cariad.co.za/twhl/mapvault_map.php?id=1675 . it is currently unfinished. as you can see from the horrible cliffs, i need to make them better.

Reno's cliff tutorial is the best one out there. It's so easy to do his way, and the cliffs look really good. I used it on my cliff climb map and my newest map.

My recent map (in unfinished vault, called Canyon) used VM for the cliffs, and I think they came out quite good. It is a lot better it the rocks arent completely random, but kind of follow a pattern.

Take a look at my map: http://cariad.co.za/twhl/mapvault_map.php?id=1660

I have created my own method for creating cliffs which will not create VM errors unless your are really stupid.

use the landscape tutorial by pepper on this site. the triangle way of doing it really works well for me.
