know what pitch roll and yaw mean none of the tuts tell ya... im not a bad mapper but im tryin to make more complex maps now

Which entity are you referring to? You have to be specific, because they're implemented differently depending on the context.
In addition, they're not fully supported by Hammer 3.4/3.5. I believe they will be for Hammer 4.

You would probably use this in a rotating door, or other of those types of entites. Its a useful tool to know in mapping.
