Hello Fellows

After you created a new mod using SDK a site show up, this one: http://www.valve-erc.com/srcsdk/MyFirstMod.htm

In the headline called 2) Open the MOD solution, it tells me to open Microsoft Visual C++ .NET 2003 v7.1. Is this a free program I got with Steam? or it a program I have to buy? if it is where to get it?

Erm, it's a Microsoft program. Microsoft don't give out programs for free.

Of course things are, you just have to know where to look

You can get other C/C++ compilers besides microsoft's, linux usually comes with them...and a few other free projects are out there that work on windows- you just have to look.

Gee, I take that back, Microsoft dish out a free version of the .NET C++ compiler here. Get it before they realise how stupid that is :|.
