Best viewed in 1152x864
Read: "designed poorly and without consideration of the majority of web users".

Sorry if that seems harsh :P.

Yes, 'best viewed' but it still caters for if your in any different resoloution ;) (i hope) :S
Posted 19 years ago2005-05-21 06:37:35 UTC Post #110383
It's just about usable at exactly 800x600 (window size, not res) and alright at 1024x768. 1280x1024, of course, it's fine.

IFRAMEs aren't exactly great, though. People scroll, they want everything to move. There doesn't seem to be any need for them, so just do it the 'modern' (post-'99) way ;).

I would scrap the iframe, but i hate frames and is there any other way of adding the content into a page and have it size fittlingly? :

Have a look at w3schools. I'm sure some of the regulars on IRC will be able to give you a hand too.

The document located at <http://www.danhall.co.uk/index.php> was checked and found to be valid HTML 4.01 Transitional. This means that the resource in question identified itself as "HTML 4.01 Transitional" and that we successfully performed a formal validation using an SGML or XML Parser (depending on the markup language used).
Yay.

Hm, a lot of those look like mistakes on the parser's part.

Yer it is, the parser picks up on stupid things, soem things that would make some features unable to be used if taken waya, most ghey :
