It was loads of fun. We watched a big fireworks show and then we got some M80s and bottle rockets (big ones) and set them off. Then we got bored so we strapped my friend's sister's barbie dolls to the bottle rockets and launched them. We also taped like 5 M80s to one and blew it to pieces. We put the pieces back in his sisters room and its gonna be hilarious when she finds out

We had a "water"-festival here, who was supposed to celebrate enviromental awareness - it got cancelled cause the fireworks made it hypocritical.

I absolutly know none of you will agree with me, but I believe that Global Warming is just an illusion created by certain scientists to gain more funds, and I'm sick of HollyWood pretending its going to wipe us all out.

Don't get me wrong, I would do anything to help the environmet, but I have a question about what really does help the environmet, and what hurts it...

I think that if everyone did their own little part to help our planet, it would help to maintain the balance that was somewhat offset by human life. This obviously will not happen. Why? Because everyone will never agree on anything...

besides... The major cause of Ozone depletion is Cow Methane, which obviously is generated by the millions of cows being grown for slaughter...

If you really want to help the environment, find a way to stop the cow methane. Maybe indoor Cow facilities, like they have for pigs, might be more effective at retaining cow Methane.

and plus, our vehicles are becoming much more advanced. Its only a matter of time before the Hybrids of today evolve into vehicles of alternate fuel sources than oil, although I really have no problem with mining petrolium. The burning of it does hurt the environment, but not as much as you'd think.

Us humans are never gonna stop killing this planet. We have better chance of africa becoming rich countrys in 10 minutes then we do at stopping environmental damage. No matter what we do, we are all gonna die. I say were gonna die before 2100, probably less give or take more. The planet increases in an over 1 centigrade every 1/2 yrs. In 50 years time england will be like africa (no more rain!! )

But it is true that Cow Methane, which is generated from the cow's stomaches and is released out of its mouth (Where'd ya think?) is a leading factor of ozone depletion.

If you look at our planet, you will realize that it regenerates itself. Look at the icebergs. One piece of evidence that scientists put forth was the melting and breaking off of Iceburgs as a result of global warming. That is true, large pieces of ice have broken off around the polar region of the Earth, but, water does freeze as well. I understand that water with a high consentration of salt freezes at much lower temperatures than pure water, but the temperatures in Antartica are low enough to acomplish this. When an Iceburg brakes off due to plate techtonics, it may move southward for some reason, therefore moving into warmer weather, causeing it to melt.

The Media here in the U.S, and (Im Guessing) The rest of the world is obviously bias toward the Left. If there was some evidence disprooving global warming, it would not be shown in the media with spotlights. The reason is simple... The Left puts the environment as a higher priority as the Right, so simple they try to create a fear that the environment might collapse. This obviously causes people to put more trust into the Left to stop the decay of the environment, which I believe isn't being destroyed as much as they tell us.

Electric motorbike

Here in the U.S, we have a larger ammount of Hybrid cars comming out and being sold. The transportation system is improving with this new technology. I do not know as much about the rest of the world as I know about what goes on here, since obviously here I see commercials for the cars, and other such things.

I'm sure that all this new technology will go to help society, and to help maintain this great home we call Earth.

Hybrid cars are good. I saw some ads for europes first proper hybrid car. But we cant reverse our damage very much until industrys finally get going in reductions
