Hi,

Today was the first time i hav eva tryed to make a css map. I looked through many guides but this one if best by FAR. The very first guide makes it so clear its as if i hav been doing it for years . But i am having a bit of trouble understanding "Part 2: Walls and Halls". The bit that says "First, create a brush that displaces the area that you want to carve. It's a good idea to make the brush big enough for the player to move through." Is there any way that can be simplified abit?

Tnx Dave.

(P.s, the rest of the guide, well where i hav got to, is clear. its just that bit)

It just means to create a brush that's the size of the space you want.

Just to warn you, those tutorials are for Half-Life, not Source... the basics are the same, though.

Whoah whoah. You've got two rooms right? You've drawn a brush connecting them? Good. Make sure the brush cuts through both rooms, then Carve, so the brush cuts a hole in both rooms. Finally, hollow out the corridor brush using a number like 32... 4 sucks.
