Ok......I'm coding in C++ (I'm still learning) and I need help with the whole buffer overflow concept. I get what the exploit is just not how to implement it in my code. I know this has nothing to do with mapping etc. but anywhere else would give me a lecture on how much of a nublet I am.

m0p would you help me if I called myself a nublet?
I am a nublet.

PS. I'm not looking to exploit anything, I just want to understand it.

Yeh I got that part..... What I'm not sure is how to use it as an exploit.
How would I get the malicious code into the extra buffer? So far I have been able to do this with my own program, but thats not much use to me as it's local so I can't use it as an exploit on another computer unless it's on there. Am I just talkin crap.......? This may just be the extent of it. I need help!
