Guidance was my entry for the glass compo. You'll see, it's heavily unfinished, but since I submitted it to the compo, I'll release it as if it was finished.

Guidance features some nice effects, from a glass dolphin sculpture to lightbeams and fire. Sure, I planned to add more glass and effects, but school just didn't allow me to spend more time on this.

I hope you'll like it anyway, and perhaps it can inspire some of you...

Very nice architecture and design. I like the usage of those light-effects.
The texturing was pretty dull here and there, but overall very nicely made.
The lack of something to do was kinda disturbing though :P

Thanks. Yeah, I planned some interactivity but alas, not enough time to execute it. Texturing is pretty much in beta-stage too. But then again, nice you liked the effects. :)

Indeed another good map with some extraordinary features.
Volumetric lights! Hehe.
The fire was also very nice for good old HL.
Maybe you'll find some time to finish this map.
I'd be glad to see what it was supposed to become.

That screenshot makes the castle look like the one off of the intro to Unreal. Good job :)

I like graphic effects, obviously. :)

I'll not continue this map but I do have some stuff to work on. We'll see...

Anyone that has a suggestion for another GFX bytheway?

The outside was great, the inside was terrible: scaled improperly and bland. No castle that size would have corridors so tiny and low ceilings!

Nice fire sprite and ambients too!!

Overall, visually stunning, if not complete.
