This map is probably my best one. I've been mapping on and off for, wow, probably over a year now...I learned a good amount, but I'm no expert mapper. I do like this map a lot though. You can check out my website to see for pics of it, but I made this because dust is so bland. I tried to create a number of enviornments and varying textures and also some rain : )
Check it out, I think you'll like it...
Only downfall is I forgot to put bomb target decals in and I lost the rmf file...

It's pretty nice.

+ Good strategic layout
+ Didn't spot any bad textures
+ Some nice details
- Most areas are square.
- R_Speeds are over 1000 in some places, 1200 in one I found

I'd like to play it with some other people.

Its the most played map because it is a great map. People only call it bland because it is seen way to often. What makes it good is more its layout than anything else because anyone who maps here could make it.

I seem to be drawn to squares....yea, about r_speeds, i started making this a long time ago, when i didnt really care about that stuff, but any tips on reducing? not that i can do a whole lot since i dont have rmf, and i lost it cuz i had to reformat my hd, so i dont think ill find it by searching...

and i never said dust was bad or anything about the layout, just that its bland, i think there is like 5 textures in the whole map, and most of them are the same color, but i do still love it, one of those maps that sticks to ya

looks nice..and reminds me of a jump map.
btw Dust textuers may be few but Powerfule tools 2 create N1 looking maps ^^
