This is just an example map for a pendulem and it includes everything for it to run excluding HL2
NOTE: Updated version works fine now. (Hopefully!)

Theres a tutorial on this at the snarkpit. Its acting like a rubber band because you didnt use a phys_lengthconstraint.

Wrong!! I did use a length constraint I just didnt pull the origin up to the top point of the rope. It works fine now.

lol.
You put it in the HL2/maps,, or,, well,, whatever..
Then you run the map command in the console to play the map.
Example: map swingy_thingy
