this is my first map. i first planned to make it a wine cellar-type map, but i decided to make it to what it is now - a small deathmatch map. PLEASE do critisize and comment on it. i tried NOT to make another iceworld clone. i think the layout of this map is unique. try it out!

just reading the map description - you say its trying to stay away from icworld (an fy map) then you say its a small deathmatch map, THEN in the screenshots their are weapon placements and finally in the name it says de!

So what is it?
an fy_, a de_ or a dm_

The light_environment setting is too high. It's probably around 200-300. Set it to 100-150. It makes the outside environment more realistic.

yeah, i shoulda made this a dm_ map. it's just that fy_ maps are frowned upon and i since there is a bombsite in this map, i thought to myself: "why not make it a de_ map?". can anyone help come up with a 1337'er name for the map? dm_???

no... anyways.... some people have complained that fps is kinda low on this map. is this normal, cause, this is a small map? hell, people DO like this map, so before releasing the next version i wanna know if the fps is really higher than it should be. no one from these forums has told me yet wether they like the map or not.

after dling this map ithought to myself, and i pondered the meaning of life
i still havent gotten anywhere with that
but it looks like one of my early maps
its a good start off point
but i think that this map needs too be a little bigger and block vis a little bit more
thats just my 2 cents
good luck on making it better
and i agree wit hteh others fps is kinda low
Blocking vis a bit should fix that
either way stock up on the tutorials and sooner or later ull pop out a map that everyone lieks
sry for the spelling errors i cant read my screen anymore (been up for over 24 hrs now)
