Fake lighing using a 1-unit-thick func_wall_toggle 'covering' 'round all the walls, floor, ceiling, and lamps.
Just flip the swtich to turn on/off.
You can make the room dark as pitch, by setting func_wall_toggle's 'fx amount' to 245-250.
Might be able to use this in concert with other methods, to achieve dynamic lighitng effects.

Downloaded the latest compile tools--3.2.1--and the ZHLT light flags work fine now.
Not so useful after-all...:(
