Hello there guys! The latest map I've created, I doubt any of you will play it though, plus it will be too hard for you and you wouldn't understand it if you do, but go ahead if you want to.

Dimbark: do you even play this gametype to be able to compare it in quality to other maps of the genre? Or, do you just like arbitrarily trolling 3-star ratings to every map you play?
Skals: you pop these out pretty quickly! why not sprinkle in a "normal" map once in a while? =)
Like you say at the description at GB, these maps are NOT recommended for deathrun beginners. Could you recommend a couple good easier/beginner maps to try?
I haven't played the map but i'm sure the quality is really good, just like the rest of your maps(certainly better than 3 stars worth.. I'm rating 5 just to cancel out dimbark's tard rating.

Joe you just edit-blocked me BITCH! =) (no TRUE HOMIE does that)
Skals: maybe offer different versions of the map for beginners and intermedate players, by adding invisible clipbrush helpers and maybe slow down some of the more intricate rotating thinges, etc?
(You could make a nice menu system to do this in game, but it might cause problems with MP games?)

Dimbark gtfo from twhl -
Captain Terror thanks for the rate, I am making a normal map atm, well it's a de_ map for cs 1.6, if that's any more normal... What dimbark did not understand was the whole fact that bevel brushes were used in most parts of the map to IMPROVE PERFORMANCE, if he sv_gravitied around the map then obviously he would see a lot of null / bevel textures. What this 10 year old does not realize is that on a 32 player server maps like these may actually lag.
...and what the f... are you talking about 5 minutes a round, deathrun servers have unlimited time in them.
Let me get this right, you rated my map 3 stars because I used bevel and null textures to improve performance, and because you set your cs lan server to 5 minutes per round? K. F... off.
Captain Terror it's a fun mode, I'm not sure what to recommend to you though. It takes a while to learn all these jumps and stuff, it's a good skill to have though, you will be able to navigate everything much more easily. The problem with deathrun is that a lot of the maps are pretty crappy 2-3 star maps, if you really want to try it though you can search for some on gamebanana or a cs server. You can also noclip or sv_gravity the areas you can't do in my map if you wish.
Strafing was managable.
Sucks that you only got 5 minutes per round.
Good mapping.
I'll give it a 3.

Skals this map is definitely in top 10 best deathrun maps ever made! Traps are well thought off, lots of jumping and thinking. Its amazing!
I have not much to say, since the entire 26 player server said the map is uber kick ass
