Welcome to Sjaak's Test Chambers Challenge!

You wake up in a cold cell and testing begins...

This map is a singleplayer obstacle course made of 10 test chambers with different types of challenges and an ending. I had a lot of fun making this map and watching friends trying this one out. It turned out to be pretty hard, at times a bit frustrating, but with some determination it's certainly doable. I myself managed (once) to get through without dying, but that was quite tough. Feel free to die as many times as you like, though ;)

Anyway, hope you'll like to try it out, have fun and comments/remarks are welcome.

To play:
  • type 'mp_allowmonsters 1' in the console and start this map as a server. Without monsters you can't finish certrain chambers. I didn't go for a pure singeplayer setup to make sure quicksaves are not allowed.
  • allow 'flashlight' for one of the chambers
*EDIT: The third room, with the aliens: you can get them to kill each other (headcrabs jumping on zombies, zombies flailing about and killing headcrabs). Kill two of them and the door opens.

Looks fun, I'll try it :D

There is no reason to launch it as a multiplayer game though.

Hey Psy, indeed you might be right. To be honest, the best setup for this kind of map wasn't entirely clear to me, so I went for these settings. Might be a more convenient way indeed to have set this up.
