Half-Life: Randomized
v1.0

A total randomization mod for Half-Life 1
Written in C/C++ on MSVS 2012 by uNdead
11/14/23

So far the mod supports this much:

rando_monsters - Randomize monsters, 0 - off, 1 - randomize everyone including friendly NPCs, 2 - randomize only hostile monsters
rando_weapons - Randomize weapons, 0 - off, 1 - on, recommend having this off as it's not that much fun
rando_replies - Randomize speaker announcements & NPC replies, 0 - off, 1 - on
rando_sounds - Randomize ALL sounds except for those handled by rando_replies, 0 - off, 1 - on
rando_textures - Randomize map textures, 0 - off, 1 - on

The above is all console commands introduced by this mod. You have to set it up with CONSOLE COMMANDS!

Installation:
Extract this archive so that the folder "rand" is located in your main Half-life directory, where hl.exe is located.
Then run Half-Life with "-game rand" launch parameters (no quotes.)

Great mod, fun to mess around with. Kinda sad to see that there is no map randomization, that would be cool.

If people were to do these kinds of meta-mods, they should be developed to run on metamod[-*] imo. That way there can be a path to extend it to run on top of any mod, not just Half-Life.
