This is a tribute map - based heavily on both of original Crossfire and Stalkyard HLDM maps.

DISCLAIMER: Please note this is a fan-made map, based on the original works of Dario Casali and Brett Johnson respectively. Therefore, I do not claim any of original rights here. All credit should go to the guys and Valve Software as a whole.

The main rationale for this tribute map was to seamlessly connect two of the best HLDM original maps, attempting to preserve the original style, lighting and shadows, and overall feel. This idea came to my mind more than 20 years ago, however I managed to implement it only now, after HL 25th Anniversary has shaked the HL community.

In this map, you'll find:
  • Both Crossfire (with little to no modifications) and Stalkyard (modified substantially as there were no 'natural' map connection points to use as-is)
  • Two maps, one button (yes, everyone will run to the same single Bunker!)
  • Multiple exits from Stalkyard storage facility to approach the 'open area' with two towers, which in turn is then connected to the Bunker itself (basically, we use the same idea here as in original Crossfire). This includes two large security doors with some goodies behind them - both are accessible from inside Stalkyard storage facility only
  • Some underground tunnels below new Stalkyard 'open area', with two extra exits to the surface
  • Three machine gun turrets to guard the Bunker against invasion from Stalkyard side
  • A nasty top floor in the building facing Stalkyard towers (it has snarks, hornet gun, satchel charges) - solely for those who likes to annoy people
  • It's daytime on Stalkyard now, so no more crickets, sorry
Last but not least: please understand, this is not the best map in the world. This is just a tribute.

Please provide feedback here if something needs to be fixed.
Also, if you're running a server, please add it to a map rotation. This actually 'saves' Stalkyard, as no one is playing it now - and running to a Bunker is always fun

Ah yes, stalkyard needs more appreciation, good to see there's people who still love to play this map, same goes for boot_camp
