HINT texture as found in zhlt.wad
HINT is a
tool texture that when applied to a brush face tells the compiler to make an invisible line to cut a VIS leaf into 2 or more parts, to control line-of-sight and reduce wpoly counts. As a VIS leaf cut is made on every HINT face, the texture should normally only be used on one face of a brush, with the rest textured
SKIP.
For best effect, a HINT/SKIP brush should be placed so that it cuts across a corner between two hallways.
HINT and SKIP textures can be found in
zhlt.wad
