Never seen a mini crit before?
They were introduced in the spy/sniper update.

It says you were killed by him and that he's still alive... but he looks pretty dead to me? @_@

Also, mini-crits deal with the jarate crit, and actually REALLY suck most the times. They can actually even REDUCE damage.
