I'm in Portugal at the moment. I was annoyed about being told about it the day before I left, but It's not so bad. It's the first holiday I've been dragged behind a speedboat on a rope before, and that was pretty fun. It's annoying that the layout of te keyboard is different though, and the fact that there are almost no bins on the streets. Carrying your rubbish halfway across town to get rid of it can get annoying.

So did you go water skiing or tubing? Or did they just tie you to the back of a boat and drag you through the water?

Tubing is fun.

You know whats fun? Find a surfboard and tow that behind the boat. get on, tell them to throttle up, and make sure you lean in the corners. Also try crossing the wake of others ships, fun guaranteed.

I'm back now. We were in Praia de Luz. I did water tubing. We did it again later, on a larger one that was made to get pushed into the air at high speeds, but it was more fun the first time. The big one just glided over the wakes.
I liked the food, and the fact that a 1 litre bottle of coke costs the same as a 330ml can would in Ireland.
