Colony 42 may take a while to finish be canceled soon.
There are a few reasons for this.
1) I've moved to source. It's harder to map for GS once you've made maps with shaders and physics. I've already complained about this in a previous journal.
2) I'm getting bored of the setting of the mod. I could change it up a bit, but, see 1).

I've already started and scrapped 2-3 other versions of this mod, and I want to finally release it... but it may take a while.

Spirit of Half-Life 1.5a4 works fine with Steam for me.

I always have WON Half-Life installed, A) so I can use it if for whatever reason I can't use Steam HL, and B) so, if I need to, I can use impulse 107 (which fsr doesn't work in Steam HL).
Using that was the only way I could get that chunk of 6D working.

That's really nasty. I map for source and hl1 and I feel no difference. I can almost say that sometimes mapping for hl1(or sohl) is somewhat funnier :D.

Cstriker is right, whenever I map for hl1, I bust out laughing, but with source, I only chuckle a bit.

hl1 mapping is definitely funnier.

You need to put cg.dll and cgGL.dll in SteamApps/half-life, and make sure you don't touch the standard steam hw.dll and sw.dll. Really common installation mistake =)

agreed jeffmod i think source mapping is way harder. i'm switching over after my cubicles entry is done and maybe one more gs project
