Striker StrikerI forgot to check the oil pressure
Something really bad happened in Hungary, a neighbor country.
An ecological disaster :/.

This stuff is so toxic that it can melt\burn skin(it has diluted NaOH in it and lots of other toxic substances). The problem is that the sludge is now heading for the Danube...

That photo is so obviously photoshopped, I don't even know where to begin.

Edit: I watched the video.
That's pretty serious.

Yeah, when did they think it was a good idea to put that shit uphill from a major river?

Yeah I actually saw this on the news this morning, so I'm a little more convinced at the legitimacy of it. Obviously if it work fake someone would've proven it by now...
Plus that picture is a panorama, it basically has to be shopped...

If that sludge gets into Danube (the river) It will be transferred all over Europe and their water supplies. What I'm wondering right now is why the fuck isn't European union cleaning this up right now?

Soup Miner, what photo is photoshopped? The panorama? I find it hard to believe, this stuff really happened and it's serious.
Skals, this problem is already in the attention of EU. The area is currently being cleaned up, but it will take about a year to clean up all that sludge and "repair" the damages. And it will be costly too.

I was shocked at the apparent lack of safety at the reservoir. Not only is it open to the air, but there aren't even any fences around it. I'm surprised there was only one case of someone falling into it. And the reservoir must have been massive, to cause that much destruction.

It was designed by the same architect that did Black Mesa.

Why would they hire someone who designed a game to make their dam?
