I was riding flatland bmx on my bike yesterday in the cul-de-sac in front of my house when a thunderstorm began to roll in. As the first lightning struck right in front of me I felt a strong shock in my left thumb. I had been slightly shocked by it!
I headed straight inside. My thumb is still very slightly stiff. I think I'm lucky I didn't get it worst.

If you don't mind me asking i wonder how was the sound, was there a deafening explosion or just the initial high voltage type of crack ?
That's funny Ghost, yea Zeus through an electro nade and my thumb caught some of the shrapnel. Luckily I was pulling some spins. Maybe I dodged it ;).
Glad you're ok man, THAT has to be an extremely surreal experience! First Rimrook and now you, I'm seeing a pattern... =)

I've had my fair share of electrical shocks but never had that experience with lightning.
