Does anyone have experience or direct references of GlassMasterDisc?

I learned about it not long ago while reading on some studies on data longevity and it turns out it's pretty resilient and it's expected to last LONG. I thought it would be a good idea to offer these to my clients. Wedding photos that last forever! Or at least long enough that they won't need to care while they live. I think that's pretty premium.

I imagine it's quite expensive. I emailed them and requested a prices list a few minutes ago, so I don't yet know. Thought I'd ask around meanwhile.

Commercial disks last around 25 years. And that is due to reflective coating oxidizing due to air around it.
Golden coating disks can last up to 100 years.

What is more important than some glass disks is a disk writter or burner, it has to be high quality and you have to use good quality disks. Not hyped Verbatim or other crap. Popular brands were TDK, Sony Japan, Maxell, etc.

If they want long lasting pictures they should make an album.

the married couple would start fighting, break the glass disc and cut each others throat

I have some CD from 1993 with classical music that still plays, and a Verbatim Metal AZO( the blue ones) from 2000 that can still be read.

Only if I tell them it's glass.

A glass disk sounds arguably sounds more fragile than a normal plastic one.
