ok, thanks. I don't have the computer with my project on right now but i just loaded some basic rooms i mapped a while ago and did what ZombieLoffe said. And there are a lot of red lines here, the room is a cube so i don't really see why there should be any leaks, i guess filling 'holes' fix the problem, or have i misunderstood the whole "leak" thing? Anyway, i'll give it a try tomorrow and i'll report back here. Thanks everyone!

Lol, ok. I'm lost AGAIN. Sorry :) how do i load the pointfile? and what is a .lin file? I went through the map with the 3d thing but found nothing red. Btw does this fix the bug where things disappear?

Both the floor, shelves and crates (anything) disappears, but only near the end of the level when i face that direction, and it ruins everything

In a certain area of my map, everything becomes invisible when i turn in a certain direction, it's so damn frustrating and makes it non-playable!

in Ambient sounds and scripting HL 1 Post #206231
Thanks! A few more things:

4) How do i create destructable walls etc.
5) How do i create falling pieces with the scripts (like the small metal pieces falling when a went is destroyed and a headcrap pops out, or when you destroy a barrel/crate)
6) How do i create elevators and choose where they need to stop?
7) How do i create smoke effects or fire.
8) how do i make enemies spawn

in Ambient sounds and scripting HL 1 Post #206215
(I USE THE HAMMER EDITOR)

1) How do i add ambient sounds, like spark sounds/wind/airwent sounds.

2) Could anyone explain how to script a monster to move to a selected location using the Ai_script.

3) How do i script explotions and all that fancy stuff from the half life1 singleplayer? Like walls flipping over making a new path.. functioning buttons..

in Need help (texture bug??) Post #205959
Whenever i place an object (coke machine, retinal scanners, boxes..) in The hammer editor for Half Life 1 the textures get all screwed up. They appear out of place and there are several of them on each object. And when i rotate objects so that they lay on the floor, the textures won't change it's angle! Please help, it's so damn frustrating (i have tried several versions of the Hammer engine and even worldcraft)
