Well it's.....a nice idea and it can also be good place to put models,textures...ect :)

As for awards I belive we need an award for good mods! Every month a maker of a great mod will win this award and I maybe he can get many awards if he has many good mods! :quizzical:

@MoP - It says on the front page the requirements you need are '...pretty fast computer' so I guess it just eats up a lot of memory or something computery like that. :)
That means my old pentium III truely pwns! :D

Milkshape is expaired(damn) and Gmax is good for making high poly models so I wont be able to make it. :cry:

I need somebody to help me to do it and since urban has left us I can no longer depend on him to make that model! :roll:

I want to give the monster an egon(really important),a pistol and a gauss(tau cannon) in addition to all the stuff the grunt had. I want it to have the grunt AI only when it has the egon gun it shoots at the place you were in 0.2 seconds ago(just like in quake2) so it will probebly wont be so easy. :(

Urban made that model but he didn't do a thing but change the body so it didn't fit the skeleton so the hands was always open also he didn't edit the animations so the hands were in the guns... :cry: He didn't even remove the other 3 heads so the model had 4 head that are the same. :nervous:

I should look in wavelenghs too if I want to give my H.E.V grunt an AI!! :tired: Anyway I can't do a thing cause of urban who hasn't finished with that model... :tired:

I worked with model a bit and it doesn't take so long to add a few weapons and fix the model a bit! :furious:

Thats why you need to use my method! Func_wall the part that touch the solids so the cylinder wont split the faces! ;)

You can clip the buttom parts of a detail(Or any other part that touches a solid) and turn the buttom part to a func_wall so it wont split any faces and will still cast shadows! ;)

Make hammer place the .BSPs in the mod's maps folder. In case you're mapping for the original Hl1 place them in valve/maps or in Cs put them in cstrike/maps...and so on :)

Whats wrong with the cylinder tool? :quizzical: I think it's perfectly fine, it snaps all the verticels to grid, it doesn't create invilde solids...ect :glad:

Wrong! My brother and I watched everything we wanted to from the day we were born. We watched Transformers,G.I Joe,Conan,He-Man...ect Now my brother and I know how to draw(quite well)and we have lots of imagination and even more stuff that I don't remember. :cool:

Video game are more helpfull then dangerous! I learnd english from video games.(and my english is good for if it wasn't I wouldn't be here)

And ZL books are more helpfull then C++ although that I never learnd who's Gulliver from school, it's just a thing you got to know. Also "Guliver's Travels" isn't a kids book, it was edited!! :lol:

Saw it and the animations are useless! I found out how to do it. Make hime do a script(with the jump animation) and place a wall above him to deirmine how high he will jump! :)

Kill it with the trigger_relay's killtarget value! First target the trigger_relay, in the killtarger value write the name of that door and make it trigger(target value) the env_shooter!! ;)

Are you crazy??? BFG over rated!?! :lol: It hits everything in a large radius and it hits them bad!! :cool: The only three bad things about it are that it got a slow firing rate, slow shot(but in quake2 the shot shoots lazers at everything that is too close to it) and it every shot needs 40 cells! :tired:

First of all kill the door with a trigger_relay(killtarget value) and spawn some gibs to make it look better.(env_shooter) Please post your script entity attributes also explain what the scripts do!(kill the scientists,make the grunts enter the room...ect)

I'll post an example map on making a door fly out because of an explosion! :)
