@Joebama: The hi-hat isn't. The crash is, I hadn't built the stand yet. Now I have, though, so it won't be floating when you see it in a complete map :)

I can only play HL1 entries.

Skals's entry was intriging. It was alright, but got me stuck sometimes not knowing what to do next.

I would especially like to compliment Zeeba-G's entry. I'm unable to put it into words. Everything was thought up to the smallest detail. His entry has undoubtedly earned first place, by far.

There was thing that got me confused however. Why is the fish tank a button that opens the stairs?

No.

All VM and no play makes Stu a dull boy.

Got an invalid solid.

Edit2: That invalid solid isn't mine. And it's located somewhere near the pool.

I had to do a lot of VM to get this right. There's a shitload of off-grid vertices! What's this, Rim?

There goes my homework again.

Just in case, make sure you have the latest patch.

Anyone still doing this? I just fired up Hammer and aside from an attempted prefab this was my latest map.

I might do something with it.

Also I should be doing homework instead.

Maybe it's just a matter of taste, but I don't think I'd use blue for christmas lights. The christmas theme is generally more red/yellow/green/white and little or nothing else.

@Commieman: How the hell do you manage all that??

@TJB: I guessed it was a BRICK ceiling. Still it's not the chronologically correct type of ceiling construction for a chapel or whatever it is.

RAW is a lossless format, of course there will be a difference compared against JPEG.

The most important part is that you get the raw light data straight from the sensor, which you can later post-process to retrieve more detail in the image than the camera can generate for a JPEG.

Depends on each camera's own algorithm how close is the out of camera jpeg compared to its raw version, some get it better than others. My camera does a pretty good job and they look pretty much the same.

I'm fine with jpeg anyway, I don't really need to use RAW. But I'm glad I have it in case I ever need it.

It's amazing how much one can do just by tinkering with the registry. It's also amazing how much one can fuck up by tinkering with the registry. You seem to be doing well, even if you don't completely fix everything, it's going to be great a learning experience.

As a matter of fact, you could take this as an opportunity to fuck with the registry and learn a lot about the inner workings of Windows with no concerns regarding the consequences, and later do what I said in my previous post.

You need two env_renders, one for each state of your f_i. One for texture/255 (visible) and one for texture/0 (invisible).

Then, a trigger_changetarget to switch between targeting each env_render.

Though I think it would look nicer with the sign in the top-left, and the block of wood bottom-left cropped out of the shot.
Are you talking about that grey metal box? I thought of leaving those out, but I later decided I like it as it is.

@Striker. yes, there are adapters for using lenses backwards. But I don't have one anyway.

Edit: Have some moon.
