i want every building in that city liek the one on the back ground, and the sky is not right, it needs to be a sky wiht dark ugly clouds.

and the powerstation idea would not work, remember we are in hl1

and how quik is your computer?? considering the long compile times.

and the grass needs to be half dead, remember the whole city is infested and it has been a target area for mortarshelfs of the army to keep the zombie's under control. watch your mail jazhel, remember there are some bugs in the shotgun but im gonna try to fix them.

no, the textures are owned by valve. not by the counterstrike team. so you need to credit valve. not the cs team.

i still hope the quality of the buildings will be higher in the mod itself.

i dont like it, its not....destroyed enough. NO lights will burn in the city, only in the places that have a generator. ore is a fire on. most of the buildings will be half demolishd and being close to colapse. let say if you drop a grenade to a floor, it will blow away the floor. i want that sort of the stuff in the levels, no less. almost the whole building need to be able to be destroyed.

this building looks new unused and not really in a abandon city.

and the building is to blocky.

yo uan get a extractor for that, dearch of googel for nem's one.
and in the games menu at steam you can select the mods. so yo udot nneed to start up hl to play a mod.

m_garguanta. i dont think we should use any default hl textures, it makes the levels look so done before, you see those textures everywhere.

alright zombie, your in to wiht the mapping, personaly i cant do any mapping because i need to focus on modeling. maby captain p can do some texture work if he is back.

if you guys fidle together a website i will start recruiting over the web. and i need your guys full comitment to the mod. we cant fall apart as so many mods do. we got already far and we got something to show to the public. ministeve use my shotgun model pictures for the website. il send it on email to jazhel(the model) so he can test it and produce a screenshot with it. and dont forget ot add under the picture that it isnt the final product and that the mod is heavy under development.
so far we have:
jazhel(mapping)
pepper(modeling)
m_garguanta(mapping)
ministeve(website)
zombieloffe(website graphics???)

we shouldnt take any person in the team, we need to trust on eachother and you need to prove yourself by a example map/model.

@ministeve, how is the website coming along??

yup, in hl it would be a challenge to make it, in hl2 it would be easy to make. cinsidering there is already a destroyed city in hl2.

yeah, we need new textures. although im alreayd doing the modeling so i do not have much time for texturing(let alone the weapons).
i really think we need more people for modeling the weapons,world models, and the charters. i cant handle it all alone, i also got other projects running(dutch joint ops,hl-rally).

well, there are no free programs for that, the cheapest would be milkshape, the we go to cinema4d wiht 1500 euros
then 3dstudiomax around 3000
and softimage is the most expensive use for some fillms. wiht around 6000-10.000
