When exactly does this competition end? I need to know the exact time of day because I'm afraid I'm going to need every minute I have. Will it end as soon as the clock hits midnight the 14th or will it end at the end of the day on the 14th?

Kasperg what RAD settings do you use for optimal smoothing? I'm on 1 for smooth, 8 for chop, and 4 for texture chop and I can still see the triangles on mine fairly easily.

Special Entity Names
As of Half-Life version 1.0.0.9, there are a few special names that can be given to entities, that will activate those entities in specific circumstances. They are:
game_playerdie
game_playerkill
game_playerjoin
game_playerspawn
game_playerleave
For example, an entity with a name (targetname) of game_playerdie will be triggered whenever a player dies (and will be triggered by that player).
Use a game_playerspawn.

God... I was looking for a new mod last Saturday and I decided to give Zombie Panic a shot. Now I've been hooked on ZP and hacking together custom models for it. I've only working on my Viper for 2 days so now I'm working my ass off to catch up. Hopefully I can still get done what needs to be done.

You should put those trophies in a box with a nice border or something so that they can be anti-aliased(at the cost of losing transparency of course). Transparent gifs are a bitch, me thinks.

I'll definitely take part in the next mini compo. I've been waiting for it.

but what makes them so heavy . I thought there was a limit to things you could do in a map. is that shit stuffed with leaks (highly unlikely) or why is it so heavy

Use a multi_manager or a trigger_relay to trigger the trigger_hurt. The problem will be turning it off, though, because trigger_hurts cannot be turned off(in CS 1.6 at least) by triggering them again. You have to kill the trigger, and you can't bring the dead [trigger] back to life. If I were you I'd scrap the idea of using a trigger_hurt all together, and just go with a nice func_train that crushes them instead.

Well apparently something is happening with Steam. A lot of people at the FPSB forums(yes I browse the FPSB forums) say that their Steam is doing some whacky things;logging them out without being able to log back in, random disconnections, massive and frequent spikes, games showing up as preloaded, etc.

You needed to play it to see that the graphics were "meh"? I saw demo after demo that showed me the same thing. But the Wii isn't supposed to be graphics intensive, Nintendo's always taken play over look. I see that as a good thing, but of course the rest of the world just wants OMFG SHADERZ LAWL!
Athlete, when I bought a retail copy of HL2 in Nov. 2004 it cost me 60 bucks. I don't know where you're shopping, but if you got HL2 for $100 then you got ripped the fuck off, dude.

Mmmmyes quite ironic. Somehow, over a period of time, I have accumulated a bunch of people on my friends list. Maybe a fifth of them are actual friends of mine, and another handful are others that I talk to casually over the net. The rest, I don't even know how it happened.
