Well thats a completely different style of art. Kinda hard to compare the two.

I love this comic, though I probably won't keep up with it because it only updates every 2 weeks. I'm not that patient  I like the humor in it. Its subtle, but just enough to make your chuckle and keep reading.

Habboi, Jump on the first block and rotate it(while standing on it, you'll have to jump from side to side) until you are on the outside of the block. While you are standing on the first block, you have to jump while its sliding down. Doing that, you'll be able to jump onto the highest part of the block. Slide it up again and you'll be able to jump on the girder that the slider rests on. Slide the other block towards you and you'll be able to jump on the second girder and run over to the second block, where you will slide it towards the portal. Then you have to rotate it(you'll have to stay on the outside) until the longer endlines up with the portal.

I just got around to playing what you have so far. Its great! It was pretty challenging but not too hard. There were a few bugs. You have to manually load the game again if you get crushed(which happened a lot more than I wanted it to).
Well did anyone even use the Map-view?
Ya. Its a useful thing.

I don't think you understand the who Jimmi was. He wasn't a "totally normal and regular poster", that's why he's so imfamous. He was a mad spammer who's been banned time and time again under different usernames.

Very hard, but not really addicting. :/ The Desert Eagle is just annoying, since the time between shots is so random and the reload time is very long.
Then don't use the deagle?
I like this game, I think its pretty addicting. The ideal game to play when you're bored at school

The p90 and deagle are pretty much useless.

That's done with a multimanager. You can't make that happen with something like a grenade unless its button but even then the button would have to be able to be triggered by being shot as well.

The normal maps look too strong because the textures by themselves already look too defined. Lighten them up, leave the definition for normal mapping.

Ok, I know I'm getting a little compulsive about this but I can't stand things like this.

Look, this is what Pyramid Head looks like in the movie and from the game (I used a poplular screenshot of a wall painting in the game, since pictures of the pyramid head model itself are hard to find and most of them suck):

There are very obvious differences. In the game, his helmet is much bigger, its a different shape, and it has less details(no vents, no big metal bars, just a flat sheet of metal).

Err no, he had a pyramid on his head. they modeled the one in the movie after the one in the game.
The character is the same, but in Silent Hill the movie and Silent Hill 2 he looks completely different. The one in Sajo's avatar is from the movie.

For MP mapping, using a cycler_sprite is the best method. I haven't tested it much in Half Life(only CS), though. I know cyclers work in multiplayer but if you shoot them they "bleed".
i tried cycler sprite but it only lets me add sprites
You have to put the model path in manually, like srry said.

Elaboration: Its Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill movie. Pyrimid Head in Silent Hill 2 had a different pyramid.... on his head... a more sqaure-shaped one.

Well Halloween is over. Can't say that I did anything... because I didn't. I wrote a paper for school all day because I had put it off until the day before it was due. But we did hand out some candy... our house got a whopping 6 people  so that leaves a lot of candy :P

A lot of the weird sounds in HL2 are reversed.
Reverse the "citadel_scream_loop" sound. It's weird. It's not freaky, it actually sounds like a movie clip but I'm not sure.

No, buddha is an alternative god mode. If you use "buddha" instead of "god" in the console you receive damage, but never go below 1 hp. Hence the effect in the comic.

Steam is a genius idea. It gets products to people, and saves tons of money by not using boxes / packaging / shipping.

Its probably making Valve millions. Im surprised theres not more programs out there like it.

Anyone who says steam sucks just has a shitty computer and cant run it.

And when you say you need the net for updates, when do you NOT need the net for updates? Tard.

The only value argument i could see is that you need to login ONLINE to play singeplayer games, and that you need to login online at least once for the .blob file or whereever the fuck the login info is stored.
Its not that Steam isn't convinient. Its just that it doesn't give you the freedom to run the game independantly of its mother program(Steam). I would MUCH rather be able to run a game by itself without anything in the background that doesn't need to be there.

You sir, mr. arcan, need to listen some good rap (yes it exists) with meaning to it, something that is kinda rare in AMERICAN MAINSTREAM RAP.
Good rap? That be somethin' spread far, far across this world, me boy. It be a rare sight, it be.
Granted that there is some rap with true meaning, I just think that rap in general is annoying. But I guess a lot of people could say the exact same thing about techno, which is what i'm big on, so bleh.

Well Fortress Forever will be free and TFC 2 will not, so really its just a matter of whether you are willing to pay for TFC2 or not.
I'll definitly be buying TFC 2. The cartoony graphicsfinally empahsize the game's main point: go crazy and spam the other team.

Offtopic, sorry.
doom was not fully 3d, you couldnt look up or down and no object could be rendered that wasnt attached to the floor or ceiling.
Download Doom Legacy. DL lets you jump and aim along the x and y axis.
Does a floating world block count as something that isn't attached to the floor or ceiling? Because you could do that.
