Of course, that movie originated the theory that there's an overpopulation/overconsumption problem.

Jobabob, Natural selection and religion are just fine together. In fact we see it all the time in the bible. People like the Babylonians get killed off because the Persians were just stronger, and superior.
Thats not natural selection, survival of the fittest is according to circumstances, you dont get entire species of birds eaten by mass armies of cats
How isn't it natural selection? A wingless bird will get eaten more easily than a winged bird, i.e. the wingless birds will die out while the winged birds don't.

And what's with liberals going "yay survival of the fittest" and "yay welfare"? If people can't pull their own weight, why should anyone else pull it for them? THAT's why the human race is a cancer upon the world, because society tends to care about people that have no benefit to society. A life sentence for some random prisoner means that the taxpayer gets to pay for their food/health care/prison maintenance for the rest of their life, even though the prisoner isn't getting out, ever. The death penalty saves oodles of money and is arguably more humane than going through 40-60 years of jail rape.

Habboi, Nickel's point wasn't that it was wrong to execute criminals, but that they think it's wrong to kill criminals and OK to abort babies.

He's not a science teacher so it's not worrying at all, really. I wouldn't ask a logic/computers teacher questions about science and the origins of the universe.
We cannot afford ourselves the luxury of waiting for evidence which clinches the theory.
I'm sure Dubya's glad to hear that there didn't need to be WMDs anyway then so long as they could theoretically be there.

So you run into a boring moment and run away and damn the whole genre for it? It's not like other games don't have boring moments, i.e. Silent Hill 3... "Find locked door, run down corridor, find key, run back, avoid scary thing while screaming OH NOES MONSTUR, open door, YAY, find a first aid kit!!!" Truly riveting.

I know the skeleton you're talking about, Seventh (not the name but we'll call him 'ol rattly bones) ... I didn't hear he was confiscated because he was politically unacceptable, but rather because he was f'ing old and thus a theoretical "view into the past" as it were and his "tribe" wanted him buried.

Edit - The Kennewick Man? If that's the guy you were referring to, researchers wanted to study him and the tribes contesting for his remains didn't have any evidence of kinship (obviously, he's f'ing old).

If it's nearly a civil war, then they hate each other, not the US. It's not like Sunnis/Shiites got along before we rolled in, it's more like the Sunnis were in power and the Shiities couldn't do shit about it, and now that the Sunnis don't have a dictatorship, the Shiites are actually able to express their beliefs, i.e. that Sunnis suck.

Of course Seventh doesn't feel ashamed jobabob, does anyone ever in an Internet discussion? No. The point is that if we just twiddled our thumbs and let Saddam get WMDs, then we couldn't really take him out without, y'know, dying. Obviously we won't know anymore if he would have gotten WMDs if left to his own devices.

Maybe I mistook Mephs "TWHL Americans, which are you" for our beliefs rather than that of America's. Either way isolationism would be right since America didn't go into Darfur as you so kindly point out.

Isolationist, since if we intervene in genocides and the like we're "bullies" and we shouldn't be policing the globe, if we don't, we're "selfish." So I figure don't help and keep our money.

For the big parts of Carceri, use snipers 'n crossbows 'n shit. It's not like every area has to have combat, anyway, you could start in the really big areas and be like "oh this interesting" and then get into some smaller areas where combat's more suitable.

The belief that society would return to better times if we all went back to church is just nonsense.
I'm not sure if it's from the act of going to church itself or just more people having the morals espoused in the Bible.

Geeks with good jobs get girls. :P

Anyway, I've never really had a "pretty" break-up... once one of my girlfriends broke up with me after like two weeks but luckily she was really dumb (why she went out with me, probably... haha!) so when I had Nickelplate/Ant tell her things like "Oh, he really misses you" and all that, she believed it, so then she felt really crappy, like REALLY crappy.
