okay the mod directory will be C:sierraCS 1.5cstrike...
Game directory - C:sierraCS 1.5
Also what do u have for ur GAME DATA FILES?

I got Doom 3 of course but.. cries my PC broke!!!! im using my DELL atm and it aint powerful enough to hold DOOM 3.. sigh..

Btw, its 2 months until i get my new computer... Alienware Aurora Extreme option :D

Btw, my old one didnt break in a computer sense... it fell down the stairs when i was moving it... hm... more smashed bits of hard drive that you've ever seen.. The alienware case snaps like a twig... I mean sure, it was a flight of metal steps at my campus and there were about 100 steps but still..

Anyone up for some sorbet? :

nvrmnd... it was stupider than all that.. lol... god im good at missing the obvious things... lol. i had set my env light way to bright.. sorry.. lol... i wondered why i only noticed it on this map... oops.

nope.. no leak.. not using lights.rad...
this does show up when i compile but its still runs fine...

Ok, my fourth map is near completion and its the only one i actually like... so anyway, im really happy and everything when suddenly i test it... Everything was super bright and textures that were lighter than light green appeared almost white... blue appeared blueywhite black appeared grey orange - yellow and so on so forth... its just too bright... and then when i get into a room with white walls.. ARGH!!!!!... anyone help please? :zonked:

yeah! ministeve has the best idea iv read here so far... i would crap my pants so fast with that... really.. creepy and evil... it shows just how BAD this big bad thing is.... thats a point. The ending is in my opinion the most important part. You need a boss... A big Big BIG evil thing that you maybe see glimpses of throughought the level and then right at a really REALLY un-expected moment (walking through a very brightly lit corridoor with nice walls and a comfy floor) the lights go out and you hear the classic MUAHAAHAHAHHAAH only mutated... The lights go back on and "whoomph" The walls are ripped and slimey Xen-ish and the lights are all flickery and dim and right at the end is this big big guy:badass:.... wow i wrote more than i thought... well i hope this is helpful. i got a bit carried away. :roll:

I cant get my glass to be transparent AND breakable. i can get it to do one at a time but not both.... whats wrong here please?
Also, with steam?, where do i find the prefab file/folder library thing. none of the objects work

Can anybody tell me what this means and what i can do to fix it? it appears when i try to compile my map.

It loads up CS and then quts again...
