Yep, i got xp home. And over msn is better so, lets do it when u can go on msn.

Im serious there is no .log or .err really.

Nope it doesn't work manually. And there is no mapname.log i really checked it. Damnit why always me :'(

Omg, i cant connect to IRC. And i cant run the map manually because i dont know how.

i don't see any "mapname".err ( box.err ). Only other files are there. So weird.

1: i checked for errors ( no errors found )
2: Yes other maps run
3: I made a square and a start_player_info and light entity in it.
4: i tryed to compile it with batch it was succesfully compiled, but maybe i did somthing wrong in the setup. But that alsmost cant because "Rick" helped me with it.

OMG, i dont get it. I just made a map in valve i saved it compiled turned into .bsp saved it in the map folder and when i try to start up it gets STUCK by starting local game ( steam ). After that i even followed the first tut "in the beginning" i did everything correctly. STILL DIDNT WORK ( almost gonna shoot my comp ) I downloaded the example map and that one DID work WHAT THE F***. PLZ HELP IM SO F***ING PISSED

i did, but i just see that i can save it as a .bsp for 1.6 ehm how do i save a file in hammer as .bsp??

Guys look i want to make a map for counter strike 1.6, i cant compile lol and im a poor newbie. But does it mather if its a .bsp or .res in cs 1.6? i dont have half life for cs 1.5 thats why i cant start it.I need help to make a .bsp to .res or just save it as a .res.
