Ok first one is on glass:

I'm trying to make a building with about 14 windows in it. Now i've set all windows to func_breakable, put render fx as normal, render mode as texture and the fx amount to 100, material type as glass, prop data as glass window. All the stuff that's needed.

Only problem is when the map is compiled and run in the place of windows i get basically a wireframe box with a line going through the centre to let me know something is supposed to be there. I've been racking my brains trying to figure out whats wrong, then i read something about cube maps.

This is now my second question. After placing 6 cubemaps around my level i run the game, and when i type buildcubemaps into the console, i get "maps/test2.bsp is not writeable! check this!". The file is not write protected. What's going on?
