Ok. guys. Heres my settings:
Game configurations:
GDF: c:programmervalve hammer editorfgdcounter strikehalflife-cs.fgd
GED: c:sierracounter strike
MD: c:sierracounter strike
GD: C.sierracounter strikevalve
RMF: c:programmervalve hammer editormaps

Build programs:
GE: c:sierracounter strikecstrike.exe
CSG: c:programmervalve hammer editortoolshlcsg.exe
BSP: c:programmervalve hammer editortoolshlbsp.exe
VIS: c:programmervalve hammer editortoolshlvis.exe
RAD: c:programmervalve hammer editortoolshlrad.exe
Place compiled maps in.... : c:sierracounter strikecstrikemaps

In textures i have the halflife.wad, decals.wad, cached.wad and liquids.wad.

When i compile my map i write "-game cstrike" i additional game parameters.

CSG, BSP,VIS and RAD are all set to "normal". I click "ok" and the compile progress window shows:

** Parameters: "I:Mik2.map" "C:SierraCounter-StrikecstrikemapsMik2.map"

Then the counter strike loading picture apperars and it writes:
using secondary sound buffer
map change failed "mik2" not found on server.

"mik2" is the name of my map, of course.

This is my work PC i am sitting at. At home i have the same programs, the same settings and no problems.

I am getting desparate, please help if you can.

But i downloaded ZHLT i rar. I unpacked it and copyed the 4 hlvis and so forth to hammer/tools, and selected them in "build programs". I havent installed ZHLT as a program. Should i? And how?

I should.......run....what? I amy be a bit slow (and old) but i am not shure how to run ZHLT from the explorer. Can you eksplain, or is that to much?

You mean just type hlbsp.exe in the "bsp executeble" in "build programs" in hammer? Doesnt it need a place to look for it? I have ZHLT as a RARfile. Do i need to refer to the place for that?

The link on this exelent page does not work (for me at least). Does anyone know of a place to download ZHLT? I have really tried to look my self, but i cant find anything.
Does the program come with a manuel or is there a ZHLT tutorial i have overseen?

Hi.

I have made a map with "no errors" in. I try to compile it within hammer, as i have done with all other maps i have made, but i doesnt work. When i read the compile proces window it says, after running qcsg, "error" and in the next line "parsing brush". What is that about? Anyone?

I am trying to famillierize my self with hammer. i am making cs maps. I got the walls, textures, carving, making hollow, adding furnitures parts down. Now: How do i make doors and ladders and stuff? I find the "brush based enteties" part of the manual very confusing. anyone with advise?
