they don't work period when i try to use them....i set them up right...and they just don't work

Ok, thanks everyone for the help, but it turns out that i needed to use the q files...qrad, qbsp2..etc....thanks again

ok...to make this a little easier for all of us...could i just make a map and have someone compile it for me? and just send me the .bsp file?

I've been through a countless number of tutorials...I have it set up right...Anyways this is just a small map, a box, start player thing and a light...

the compile is perfect...no errors...

Ok...I followed a lot of tutorials on how to set up the hammer editor, from my understanding I have it right..but the zhlt that I'm using seems not to make the .bsp thing that I need. I compiled one map right and that was it. Am I just overlooking something? How do I do this?
