Hey, im using a texture with a { in the front "{grate4a" and when i run the game the blue squares in the middle are black, not clear.

: How do i fix this?

I was playing on a map where there would be a pad on the ground(I believe they used the c3a2_telepad texture) and then you would stand on it and jump and you hover. This is also seen in surf_ski when you go into the long tube and you hover up to reach the top.

How do you do this?
