But, does anybody could tellme how to make custom files?

I mean, what name to put to a custom sky texture, or a texture pack, or a group of custom models from a map i'm doing. Because i want to use them in a server, so other people can download the map and files through the game.

I'm starting to make a series of maps for counterstrike.
But i have a doubt concerning the custom files made for the map, and the way that they are downloaded throug the game from a respective server.

For example:
1. The Sky: how do i make a custom sky, the name i should use, and the folder where it goes.
2. The models: can i use a model from condition zero?, does it download to the users of the server that dont have CZ?

I'm a noob about this things.

THe problem was that i ran the map from the console, not by starting a new server.

Well. I still have problems compiling the map. It doesn't run from hammer. It opens the game and says that it dowsn't find the map.

But the map is still compiled into bsp, and i put it in the CS/maps folder, so i ran it from Counterstrike, and still have the same problem.

Hi Guys!

I'm a begginer mapper, and i have no problems building stuff.
But when i compile my Counter Strike Map, and i test it, i appear always as a CT, without the option of Terrorist. And when i change team to terrorist, the game crashes.

I have done all the tutorial said,
CT spawn: info_player_start
Terrorist: info_player_deathmatch

i made a bomb site, and i named the map de_xxx

?What's wrong then?
