whats so bad about vista other then it takes half the cpu?

i also want to say that hammer work perfectly up until a month ago for a year or 2 dont know why it has these problems to begin with

no its not a sledge map save i cant even start sledge and hammer is unusable as stated earlier in the thread

when i right click on sledge it makes the explore tab stop responding then it minimizes so i cant start it with admin privileges also iv noticed that my uncompiled maps show up in file explore but when i try to open them in hammer its says file dose not exist

when ever i try to install Sledge i get "NSIS Error - Error launching installer" im running vista and i have net 4

thanks captain terror i will try it but i would still like to fix this problem because there are some things that only work with hammer more specificly third party programs

yes any .fgd causes this

when setting up the half life sdk more specifically hammer it asks me to set up an configuration no problem there iv done that before everything else works fine but when i select any .fgd hammer has an "hammer has stopped responding looking for a solution" error immediately upon chosing and .fgd i dont even have to push apply and all i can do is close it any help to solve this would be greatly appreciated

thanks for the batch compiler Solokiller but im not really 100 percent on how to set it up correctly and use it with sven coop and its tools any further help in this problem is appreciated

i have a compile program problem where what happens is that i make a map in hammer with sven co-op sdk it all works fine then i open the compile menu push ok and it and hammer freezes and then no matter how long i wait it stays that way but if i click on hammer or the compile window it says not responding and i can only close it so i cant compile anything but i set every thing up correctly

but i should note that i put sven coop and the sdk on a lexar usb because i go around and use different computers any help is appreciated
