Thank you both of you, i managed to make it work.

Edit: I don't understeand why there is also sound coming out of path_track, everytime it reaches the path_track it playes elavator sound out of it, train sound is being played normal.

Hey, so i've made a train, it moves along the tracks like i want but then it dosen't rotate when a turn comes in, how do i make it rotate? Does it have to do something with origin block?

Turn off raw mouse input. This same problem is present in the latest Half-Life SDK.
Yeah, i tried that, it dosen't work, i tried both from console and settings.

Thank you all for answers, i managed to make it work :)

Also off topic: Anybody knows why when i use blue shift's client dll, my mouse gets locked in a box and i can't move it around but when i use half-life's client dll everything is normal. I remember i had this problem long time ago and i managed to fix it, i can't remember anymore haha.

Hello everyone, i need help yet again, so i made the elevator and its working fine no problems there, but how do i attach a light to it? doing ctl+t ties to entity but i can either keep light or func_train, and obviously func_train is the one i want to keep but as soon as i choose that, the light disappears, grouping them has no effect either. So is there a way of doing that or do i need to do it some other way. Also the same goes for elevator doors.

Thanks for reply, i couldn't get it to work depsite your instructions however, i got it to work the other way, i took sentences i want from VOX folder, put them together in audacity, and exported them in right format, added into my mod and placed as ambient generic that gets triggered when i walk past certain point.

I hope everyone who was wondering how to do it aswell, now will know, also tutorials how to add sounds into HL can be found easily.

Hey, i'd like to add VOX announcements into my level, everytime i place trigger and speaker, i get error "speaker has bad sentence group" As i understeand you can make custom sentences from all the words, but i can't find anywhere how to do it, all i managed to find is 10 year old post, but that didn't help.

Ah ok i'll give it a shot, i tried it before but i didn't use origin block.

Hi, i couldn't find anywhere information on how to make a certain block spin, im making a obstacle course and i want to add those in, also im looking for a way to make blocks act like in this video https://youtu.be/eNL_4HOhB-w?t=143 where they go up and down. Also im using sledge fyi.

Hey there, so i had little bit break from using hammer editor, and i decided to get back into it, i wasn't good with it anyways, so im using couple basic prefabs to make my life easier, one of them is rotating door, but i got question, how the hell am i supposed to make it locked, i searched google and i couldn't find anything, your help guys would be much appreciated!

I have a second monitor, it seems like the mouse does not stay in game and just goes of to the second monitor and thats where it stops.

Yep copying skillopfor did the trick, thank you all for the help, only problem is that i can't move my camera all the way now. It happend after copying cl_dlls

Okay, so i've managed to get it to work... kinda, i copied opfor.dll, and every model i need, i added a line into liblist, i can see kife or other weapons, but they have no animations and they do no damage, npc's work ok

I did coppy stuff from "gearbox" thats how i got hands and hud from OPF, i will try to use gearbox's dlls, i actualy was thinking about it yesterday, thanks for the hint, i will try it now.

Hey, my second question, im making a mod for half life, and i managed to have OPF viewmodel and hud, it was preety easy to do, but i have no clue how to make it so i can use OPF weapons. I have the fgd file so i can see entities in the editor, but whenever im in game i can't see weapons or npc's. In my mod folder, there is another folder called "models" i copied stuff i need there but still no luck, sorry for chaotic way of writing.

Only problem is that the npc's stay after level change, so they are like suspended in the air :D

Here is the thing, i downloaded from steam "Half Life SDK" Valve hammer editor for half life, problem was it didn't compile for some reason, even if i got diffrent compile programs, so i've downloaded "Sledge" and it compiles, and i can run those maps in half-life.

Yep, that is the tutorial i used, landmark names are ok, both named landmark1, level changes work, but only once for some reason.

Hi, so im new to mapping, im making my own mod, everything is going smooth and i learn fast, only problem is... i managed to have a level change, from map one to map 2, problem is i can't go back, if i start from map 2 through console, i can go back, but then again can't go to map 2 again. Simply it only works once.
