I think that a new Forum should be added. The Serious Discussion forum. Obviously "Stuff" would be of use for that, but there is also a lot of "Unserious" stuff in there. Since we are finnaly starting to have some interesting conversations, a "Serious Discussion" forum would be a great answer.
We obviously have discussed this before, but I feel its time to post about it.

I don't think that Religious/Political/offensive discussions should take place at all!
Most forums don't allow them, and we only tolerate them because you guy's don't seem to have anything else to talk about

Hey, it was my idea :P.
I reckon it just might be a good idea, since people do actually enjoy arguing about important stuff. That way, people who don't can avoid it easily.

Yea it might be a good idea, but think of how many topics are started. The stuff forum isn't overflowing enough to split it up yet. Plus what is the stuff forum here for anyway? For stuff that doesn't relate to HL, so let's keep it that way, no need to have 2 stuff forums.

This is exactly why I had another account. People don't really listen to BrattyLord, since I was known for some really stupid posts in the past, plus I used to spam... a lot...
Gmans_agent was just my second account. A second account could always come in handy, plus, people always would answer Gmans_agent's questions, but when BrattyLord asked them, I got nothing but "ohh, Bratty's got a question".
It helped, but for now on, I'll just ask questions with good ol' BrattyLord

Actually by creating another forum called Serious Discussion, that somehow suggests that stuff is a good place to be 'wacky' in. Conversely, if you created a section called 'spamdump' stuff would get serious. But I kind of agree with Andy on it, for too long people like myself have been hi-jacking the stuff forum for our debates, which could happen anywhere on the web but have nothing to do with mapping.
